Project CARS Game of the Year Edition released today. It contains all the DLC for the game when you purchase it. The problem is you cannot actually complete the checkout process on steam. The reason? The same DLC is included in the bundle twice and steam won’t let you buy duplicates.

The digital versions of Project CARS come with the Limited Edition Upgrade Pack as a bonus. Whoever put the bundle together forgot about this and included the Limited Edition Pack as part of the GOTY bundle. Go to pay for the game and steam nicely informs you that you have a duplicate item in your cart that you need to remove before you can continue with the purchase process. You can’t modify bundles. FAIL.

It’s a marketing thing. There are hundreds of game of the year awards.

I personally enjoyed the game. Then again, I got it for only $10 on xbox a few months ago.
